Accessibility Statement

WCAG 2.2 AA status

Raeburn Consulting has completed accessibility testing against WCAG 2.2 Level AA and passed the assessment. We continue to treat accessibility as an ongoing engineering and assurance responsibility rather than a one-time exercise.

Testing and evidence

Our accessibility assurance covers automated accessibility testing, keyboard-only navigation, screen-reader compatibility, colour contrast, visible focus and focus management, form labels/errors/instructions, responsive/mobile layouts, semantic structure and interactive controls.

Automated checks are supported by manual and assistive-technology testing because automated tools alone cannot establish accessibility conformance. Accessibility evidence is retained as part of our assurance process and testing is repeated when material interface changes warrant re-assessment.

Areas assessed

• Automated detection of common WCAG failures.
• Complete operation using a keyboard without a mouse.
• Screen-reader structure, names, roles, states and meaningful reading order.
• Text, controls and meaningful graphical-object contrast.
• Visible focus indicators and predictable focus movement.
• Forms, labels, instructions, validation and error identification.
• Mobile/responsive presentation, zoom/reflow and touch-target usability.

Maintaining accessibility

Accessibility defects are treated as product-quality issues. Confirmed barriers are prioritised according to user impact, recorded, remediated and re-tested. Material changes to navigation, forms, interactive components or core journeys can trigger additional accessibility review. Third-party content or embedded services may have accessibility characteristics outside our direct control; where material, we seek an accessible alternative or raise the issue with the supplier.
