Client interests first
Technology Independence Charter
Our recommendations are intended to optimise the client's outcome, not maximise software resale, referral income or platform adoption.
No pay-to-play recommendations
We do not rank a platform higher simply because a commercial relationship exists.
Any material referral, reseller or partner incentive should be disclosed where relevant.
Partner status does not equal automatic recommendation.
Improve before replacing
Existing technology is assessed before recommending replacement.
Integration, configuration and process improvement are considered before new licence spend.
Replacement is recommended only where the business case supports it.
Comparable alternatives
Recommendations should consider credible alternatives.
Total cost of ownership, lock-in, portability, implementation burden and exit options are considered.
Assumptions and material trade-offs are made visible.
Client ownership
Clients retain their own data and commissioned deliverables subject to agreed contract terms.
We favour exportable, documented solutions and practical handover.
We avoid unnecessary proprietary dependency on Raeburn Consulting.
