DiscoveryOS is Raeburn's technology-neutral approach to understanding a client's real operating environment: systems, workflows, integrations, data, controls, dependencies and constraints. It is designed to discover evidence rather than force every client into one vendor ecosystem.
Modern systems
Where authorised interfaces exist, discovery can use appropriate APIs, exports, configuration evidence, documentation and controlled technical inspection.
Legacy and constrained environments
No API does not mean no discovery. Evidence can also come from interviews, screenshots, reports, controlled observation, documentation, data exports and client-assisted inspection. Hardware, unusual VPNs, proprietary protocols and inaccessible applications are recorded as constraints rather than ignored.
Permission first
Discovery does not bypass client controls. Access, credentials, network boundaries, sensitive information and production actions remain subject to agreed authorisation and least privilege.
Output
The objective is an evidence-led view of the estate: what exists, how work moves, where risk or duplication sits, what cannot yet be observed, and which improvements have the strongest business case.
Safe architecture abstraction
Client environment → authorised evidence sources → controlled discovery methods → normalisation and analysis → RaeburnAIos-assisted synthesis where approved → human validation → prioritised findings and transformation roadmap. Detailed security topology, credentials and exploitable configuration are intentionally not published.
