Education

Practical AI and digital operations for education—without treating safeguarding or privacy as an afterthought.

We help schools, academy trusts, colleges and universities understand where technology, AI and automation can remove friction while preserving human accountability, accessibility, security, data protection and sector-specific responsibilities.

AI Governance Health Check

Review approved uses, data handling, human oversight, supplier/model risk, policies, staff guidance and decision-making controls.

Administrative Automation Review

Map repetitive administrative work across finance, HR, admissions, communications, reporting and operational workflows to identify safe automation opportunities.

Digital Operations Review

Assess systems, duplication, reporting, handoffs, data quality, process friction and opportunities to simplify the technology estate.

Schools & Multi-Academy Trusts

Support school business leaders and MAT executives with proportionate governance, productivity, process and technology transformation.

Further Education & Colleges

Improve administrative and knowledge workflows while respecting safeguarding, accessibility, privacy, procurement and public-sector obligations.

Universities

Professional-services transformation, research administration, AI governance, digital operations and knowledge-management support alongside separate academic collaboration routes.

Education-specific safeguards

Engagements involving children, students or education records require particular care. We apply data minimisation, role-based access, appropriate DPIA/privacy assessment, human review, safeguarding-aware process design, accessibility and supplier/model scrutiny. We do not encourage schools to place sensitive pupil information into unapproved AI tools or to automate consequential decisions without appropriate oversight.

Academic collaboration remains separate

Universities and researchers can also work with the Raeburn Institute on research, student projects, guest teaching, peer review and knowledge exchange. Academic collaboration is not represented as a formal institutional partnership unless explicitly agreed.
