Procurement & Governance
Social Value Statement
Raeburn Consulting treats social value as an outcome to be designed, measured and evidenced—not a generic promise inserted into bids. Commitments are tailored to the contract, buyer priorities and what can genuinely be delivered.
Skills & capability
Where relevant to an engagement, we seek opportunities to transfer knowledge, improve digital and AI capability, and leave client teams better able to operate and govern the systems introduced.
Inclusive access
We design services and digital material with accessibility and inclusion in mind, including the published WCAG 2.2 AA position for the public consulting site.
Responsible technology
We promote human oversight, privacy, security, responsible AI, data minimisation and transparent service limitations rather than maximising automation regardless of consequence.
SME & responsible supply chain
Supplier selection considers security, privacy, ethical conduct, anti-bribery, modern-slavery risk and appropriate subcontracting controls.
Community contribution
Where capacity and suitability allow, Raeburn may support pro-bono/community initiatives and knowledge-sharing activity. Such activity is recorded accurately and is not presented as delivered social value before it occurs.
Environmental proportionality
We favour efficient digital delivery where appropriate, avoid unnecessary travel/compute/work, and consider environmental impact in technology and supplier decisions proportionately to the engagement.
Tender-specific social-value measures, targets, reporting and evidence are agreed for the relevant procurement rather than assumed by this general statement. Last reviewed: 27 August 2026.
