Responsible technology
Existing accessibility commitments are extended with keyboard-only testing, focus order/visibility, semantic structure, contrast, zoom/reflow, reduced motion, form errors, screen-reader spot checks and a remediation register. Conformance claims must state scope/date/method rather than imply certification.
Prefer right-sized infrastructure and models, efficient requests/data transfer, caching where safe, workload elimination before optimisation, lifecycle extension and measurable evidence. No carbon-neutral or emissions-reduction claim without a defensible measurement boundary.
Extend existing ethical procurement to technology providers and subcontractors: security/privacy, data use, resilience, accessibility, lock-in/exit, material AI practices, conflicts, sanctions/legal constraints and concentration risk are considered proportionately.
Design deliverables for handover, document dependencies, avoid intentional proprietary lock-in, provide reasonable exports where technically available, transfer/revoke credentials safely and define post-exit retention/deletion obligations.
A public matrix should distinguish delivered evidence, demonstrations, research/methodology, ecosystem relationships and capabilities not currently claimed. Individual expert credentials do not become corporate accreditations.
